LOCATION AND TIMES OF SERVICES (end times are approximate)

Shir Libeynu's High Holy Day services are held at Cecil Community Centre, which used to be a synagogue. The community centre is located at 58 Cecil Street, just off Spadina, south of College. Take the streetcar from Spadina Station one stop past College Street.

Rosh Hashanah

Erev Rosh Hashanah - Wednesday, September 12, 2007 -- 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Communal dinner immediately following (begins at approximately 8:00 p.m.)

First Day of Rosh Hashanah - Thursday September 13, 2007 - 10:00 a.m. to- 12:30 p.m.

Second Day of Rosh Hashanah - Friday September 14, 2007 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Yom Kippur

Kol Nidrei - Friday. September 21, 2007 - 7:00 p.m. to 8:45

Yom Kippur Day - Saturday September 22, 2007 - 10:00 a.m. to 1:00

Children's Yom Kippur Service -- Saturday September 22, 2007 - 1:15.p.m to 2:00 p.m. (tentative)

Neilah - Saturday, September 22, 2007 -6:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Activities appropriate to Yom Kippur will be offered throughout the afternoon. More information on these will be forthcoming. In the past, these have included a specially designed yoga session, discussion groups and workshops on specific prayers.

TICKET/MEMBERSHIP PRICES

Membership

Adult: $100/individual
Family: $200 for first two adults, $75 for each subsequent adult, all students and children in family are free.
Student/Fixed Income*: $25

Please make cheques payable to Congregation Shir Libeynu. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept credit cards or issue tax receipts.

*A Fixed Income ticket includes seniors on a limited budget and unwaged individuals. Machzorim purchased may be picked up at the desk on the day of the service.

Congregation Shir Libeynu is dedicated to making membership and services accessible to all, regardless of financial status. All inquiries about reduced fees are confidential.
